Adventure is calling, and Mount Vernon High School students have the chance to answer it with unforgettable journeys across Europe!
Pack your curiosity and get ready for the experience of a lifetime!Mount Vernon High School students have incredible opportunities to explore the world through unforgettable international travel experiences! Trip offerings vary based on when teachers choose to lead them, and the 2025–2026 school year will feature two exciting adventures: Ms. Wolk will guide students through Spain and Portugal over spring break, and Ms. Smith will lead a summer journey to Scotland, London, and Paris in June.
These trips are more than vacations—they’re immersive learning experiences that allow students to explore new cultures, history, languages, and global perspectives alongside their classmates and trusted teachers. Informational meetings (often attended by both students and parents) ensure everyone feels prepared and excited about the adventure ahead.
Looking forward, even more opportunities are on the horizon! Ms. Wolk is also proposing a Spring Break 2027 trip to the Mediterranean, as is a joint June 2028 European trip led by Mrs. Henthron and Mrs. Smith.
Students interested in future travel opportunities are encouraged to watch the Family Newsletter, check their school email, and look for signage throughout the high school. With each trip, MVHS students gain lifelong memories, global awareness, and experiences that extend far beyond the classroom.
